How Much Does Stream Design Cost? What a Pack Includes
In short: stream design is made up of pieces (logo, overlays, panels, banner, emotes, badges, alerts and OBS setup), and the cost depends on how many you need and for how many platforms. At Epik Streamer, prices are public and in US dollars: there are three single-delivery packs (Boost for $115, Creator for $185 and Epik for $330), two monthly highlights plans, and every piece can be ordered separately. Below you’ll see what each option includes and how to decide.
First: which pieces a stream needs
Before talking prices, it helps to know what you’re buying. A complete channel usually has these pieces:
- Logo: the base of everything else. It’s used in your profile picture, your overlays and your badges.
- Overlays: the design of your scenes in OBS (game, chatting, BRB, starting, ending). We covered it in the overlay guide.
- Panels: the images in your channel’s “About” section.
- Banner: the header of your channel page.
- Emotes and badges: what your community uses in chat and what they carry next to their name. Sizes in the emote sizes guide.
- Alerts and TTS: the notifications for followers, subscriptions and similar, and reading messages aloud. We covered it in the alerts guide.
- OBS setup: getting scenes, sources and settings ready to stream. More in the OBS guide.

A la carte pieces
If you already have part of your look or only need one thing, you can order pieces separately:

| 1 banner | $20 |
| 1 emote pack (10 emotes) | $23 |
| 1 panel | $8 |

| TTS access (without a custom voice) | $85 |
| OBS setup | $30 |
All prices are in US dollars.
Pack or a la carte: how to decide
- You’re starting from zero on a limited budget. A pack gives you a complete, cohesive identity in one go. Boost covers the essentials; Creator adds emotes, badges and OBS setup.
- You already have a logo and only need one piece. Order just that piece. Keep in mind the logo is included in the Boost, Creator and Epik packs.
- You stream on more than one platform. Boost includes a banner for a single platform and Creator includes OBS setup for a single platform; the Epik pack brings multiplatform OBS setup. If you don’t know yet where you’ll stream, see the Twitch, Kick and YouTube comparison.
- You want to grow with short-form video. The Highlights plans are monthly and stand on their own; they’re not part of the design packs. We cover how to make the most of clips in the clips guide.
A practical tip: add up what you’d really need a la carte and compare it with the pack. If your list includes several of the pack’s pieces, the pack probably makes sense; if you only need one or two, buying individually is the direct option. Use the prices in the tables above, which are the current ones.
What affects the final cost
- Number of pieces. One overlay isn’t the same as five.
- Number of platforms. Each platform has its own dimensions and formats.
- Pieces that weren’t in your brief. Anything not specified in the original brief that involves additional work is considered an additional service and charged separately, at the same per-piece prices in the table.
- An incomplete brief. It can lead to additional revisions, which can also carry a cost under the revisions and corrections policy.
What the process looks like
It works like this, according to our process documents:
- You choose your pack or pieces and complete the brief.
- You pay the full amount, directly through PayPal. Payment is in full, in a single charge.
- Production starts. It begins once the brief is complete and the payment has been made.
- You receive your delivery.
What we ask for in the brief
The streamer brief is a conversation about you and your channel. It covers these blocks:
- About you: how you want to be recognized, your story, what sets you apart and what personality and values you want to convey.
- Your community: who watches you today and who you want watching.
- Your content: what you do, which games, on what schedule and what you don’t want to do.
- Your platforms: which one is your main one.
- Personality and communication: how you talk, which phrases you use and which topics you avoid.
- Visual identity: your logo if you have one, colors, fonts, photos, avatars or an aesthetic of your own.
- References: creators you admire, ones you want to stand apart from and what you don’t want to copy.
The clearer that information is, the fewer revisions you’ll need. If you haven’t decided on your colors or style yet, the streamer branding guide helps you settle them before you answer.
About market prices
You may want to look up what other designers charge, to compare. We don’t give you generic market ranges because there’s no official, verifiable source to back them up: prices depend on the designer, the scope and the usage rights they include. When you compare quotes, always ask the same things: how many pieces it includes, for how many platforms, whether it includes OBS setup, what happens with revisions and what usage rights you get.
Start with what you need
If you already know how many pieces you want, pick your Boost, Creator or Epik pack, or order the pieces separately. Our prices are public, so you can work out your budget before you start.
